ABOUT ME
I was born and raised in the Greater Rochester, NY area and have lived here my whole life. I am married and I share my home with 2 dogs, a Sulcata Tortoise, a Bearded Dragon and a 90 gallon fresh water fish tank. I’m a bit of a technology nerd and I love tinkering with computers, working on this website, and upgrading my home network. HOW I BEGAN, WHERE I AM NOW, AND THE FUTURE:
I established ADJ Photo in 2010 after several years studying the craft. I began by offering outdoor family & child portrait sessions. Soon after this Wedding, Event and Senior portrait Photography was added to the menu followed by Business & Profile Portraits.
I am a former member Greater Rochester Professional Photographers havign served for many years on the Board as Vice President and President. I am also a member of Professional Photographers Society of New York State, Professional Photographers of America and Spencerport Area Chamber of Commerce. I continually study and hone my craft by attending numerous seminar, workshops and events dedicated to the advancement of the photographic arts.
I began construction of a home based studio in summer 2015 and work was completed in 2016. My studio will better serve clients seeking a more traditional style portrait in a studio setting. The studio space will also be used for client meetings and presentations. In the near future I will also offer Commercial & Small Product Photography services.
MY PHILOSOPHY
I believe in providing service beyond just showing up and taking pictures. Whether you’re getting married, updating your family portraits, or creating a professional business profile, I will work with you from planning to print to deliver a product worthy of displaying in your home, office or online.
I offer free consultations before you hire me which covers things like clothing and color coordination, posing, location ideas and/or scouting, timeline and scheduling, photo displays and album design. I can even help you find trustworthy professionals like Officiants, DJ’s, reception venues, caterers, and more. Once you become a client, I make myself available to you to answer any questions or concerns you have.
My business is about relationships and I’d like to build one with you.
